If you have CAD drawings of a building you can use these to automatically create areas and sub areas in Axxerion. This saves time and avoids mistakes. By using hyperlinks you can link elements in a drawing to areas, assets or persons in Axxerion, so that you can navigate to an object by clicking in the drawing. You can connect one or more color schemes to a drawing to highlight areas based in various criteria, such as user department, functional use or occupancy state.
Viewing and markup:
You can upload DWG and DWF drawings with areas and floors. The drawings are automatically converted to PDF. You can view floorplans directly by opening an area in Axxerion.
Area creation:
If you have DWG drawings you do not need to manually create areas in Axxerion. You only need to add a hyperlink with a reference to the polyline of an area. Sub areas are automatically linked to parent areas.
Calculation of area size:
The area size is calculated from the drawing. If you have an inner and outer polyline with the same hyperlink reference the total area and usable area are calculated.
Updating areas:
You can make changes in the DWG and import the drawing again. Area sizes are automatically updated and areas are created or deleted according to drawing geometry.
Thematic maps:
You can interactively create thematic maps without using a CAD package. You can apply different color schemes to the same drawing, for instance for showing occupancy or functional use.
Hyperlinks to objects:
You can click on a element in a drawing to navigate to an object in Axxerion. For example, to view information on a supplier or to review the number of open workorders.
