WEBSERVICES

Axxerion has built-in functionality for integration with other systems such as ERP systems, LDAP servers, Windows applications and mobile solutions. This makes it possible to exchange information in real time and to use Axxerion together with your existing applications. The integration is enabled by webservices technology based on XML/SOAP and REST. This functionality is also available in case Axxerion is used as a hosted solution.

Connect: Before using the webservices API the client is authenticated as with a browser session. You can create a separate account with limited access permissions.

Update: Updates can be made per field or for an entire object. Related objects are automatically updated.

Create: New objects can be created via the webservices API. The system will ensure that the parameters are set correctly and that application logic is maintained.

Find: Objects can be accessed based on their ID or by special finder functions. Either individual instances or object arrays can be returned.

Documents: The webservices API supports uploading and downloading of documents. Documents can optionally be compressed during transport.

Security: The standard security model is applicable so access permissions are checked for every request and update on object level and field level.

Complex data types: All internal objects are available as complex data types via the API.

Special Java API web services wrapper classes are available. These can be delivered as a JAR file. The use of web services is on request only. In most cases an Axxerion certification of the web services interface is required.
